Texas Inspection

08/28/2024

The leadership from FHANA had a meeting with the KFPS late last week to finalize the Inspection schedule for North America. The meeting occurred because the KFPS informed FHANA that due to circumstances beyond their control, the KFPS Judges had to return to the Netherlands on or before October 12, 2024. Based on this unexpected turn of events, FHANA needed to compress the Circuit 3 schedule to ensure all sites would be able to have their Inspections.

In order to accomplish this the GLFHA Inspection in Wisconsin was changed to one day. This would ensure Texas could be rescheduled from October 12th to October 10th and 11th. Without this adjustment the Texas event would be cancelled all together and their members would not be served. That would not have been acceptable.

With respect to travel, the Judges will stay at a hotel in Appleton, WI and fly out early morning on October 10 to Dallas, Texas. The Judges will obtain a rental car and continue their journey to Waco for the Texas Inspection. We anticipate conducting the IBOP inspections on the evening of October 10 and continue with the inspections starting the morning of October 11. Based on the requirement for the Judges need to return to the Netherlands by October 12, they will depart early evening on October 11.

Your site host for the Texas inspection is Fernando Horowitz. Please reach out to him about the Inspection details. His email is f.horowitz@axeus.com. The Inspection will be at Highlander Ranch, McLennan Community College, Waco Texas. If you are willing and able to volunteer or provide Inspection logistical support we would appreciate your assistance. Also, we strongly encourage you to enter your horses for the Inspection by August 30, 2024, to avoid a possible late fee.

We apologize to both Wisconsin and Texas for these last minute changes; however, we were only recently advised of the requirements to have the KFPS Judges back in the Netherlands on the 12th of October.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
