The Chapter of the Year is a program that was designed to acknowledge all of the efforts of each FHANA chapter throughout North America and promote the Friesian horse through education. Please review the instructions sheet for information on qualifications for this award. Entries for Chapter of the Year must be submitted by November 30th, of the current year.

Use this form when requesting the FHANA booth, FHANA support for an event, or FHANA sponsorship assistance. This form needs to be submitted 8 weeks prior to the event.

This form grants an agent to to work with FHANA on your behalf.

This test is the new Parentage test and replaces the need for Hydrocephalus & Dwarfism. * Note 07/25/26 from the KFPS: “Unfortunately, the marker for distichiasis is not added on the current 70K SNP test. We are in contact with Neogen to add this marker and some other markers related linked to embryonic lethality, to the 70K SNP test. We hope that those markers will be added before the foal season of 2027 starts.”

These test can be ordered individually for $50 each or $100 for all three.

For a lease of a horse to be recognized by the Registry of the Friesian Horse Association of North America As the Breeder. Written notice of its existence must be filed with the Registry in a timely manner, signed by both lessor and lessee

With the continued growth of transferred embryo and frozen embryo processing, it is incumbent on the Friesian Horse Association of North America to develop a process to register the frozen embryo in order to insure accuracy of the pedigree and minimize potential confusion and conflict. This form must be submitted along with the appropriate fee of $25 to register your transfer. This form must be submitted prior to the embryo transfer.

Use this form in addition to the horse’s laminated registration papers.
