The Friesian Small Batch Bourbon

FHANA had the honor of  collaborating this past fall with Hartfield & CO in Bourbon County, Kentucky, the only distillery still in existence in the true birth place of bourbon! Together we took our desire to turn the Friesian Horse into our own small batch bourbon, to make something truly special; correlating the breed’s renown temperament into flavor notes by selecting the right barrel combination in order to product this unique, non-replicable flavor profile. The selected barrels produced 157 bottles of our Friesian Small Batch Bourbon, of which only 96 are still available. The Friesian Small Batch Bourbon debuted at the 2025 Fall Festival exclusively for those in attendance. However Hartfield & CO. has graciously offered to list our SBB on their website, allowing our members and fanciers to ship directly to their door.
