Programme: Friday 11 September ‘Youngsters, Sport and Star mares’
One of the events on Friday’s agenda is the Foal Championship. All foals that have obtained a first premium at this year’s inspections/breeding days are eligible for entering, under the condition that they are still at their dam´s side. Yearlings and 2-year-olds are classed together for the Youngster Championships. Inspections of foals, yearlings, 2-year-olds and geldings will take place in the outdoor grounds. Inspections of the 4- to 6-year-old Star mares will take place indoors during the afternoon. The semi finals of the Pavo Fryso Cup Dressage Aptitude will be held in the indoor arena in the morning. This year the finals are scheduled for Saturday afternoon during which guest riders will assess all finalist horses. A novel addition to the Friday afternoon programme is the Pavo Fryso Cup Driving Aptitude, which will take place in the outdoor grounds following the Youngster Championships.
