This webinar will discuss the different components of a stallion breeding soundness examination and how this information is used to determine the breeding potential of a stallion. This webinar will also cover how this information is used to make management decisions in order to maximize the fertility of a stallion.

About Dr. White:

Dale Kelley, DVM, MS, Ph.D., Dipl. ACT, grew up in North Carolina and received his B.S. from N.C. State University in Animal Science. He spent a few years training hunter/jumpers before returning to school and getting an M.S. in Animal and Veterinary Sciences from Clemson University and a DVM and Ph.D. in Animal Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Florida. He then had an ambulatory internship at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, Ky, followed by a residency in Equine Theriogenology at Texas A & M University. He is a diplomate of the American College of Theriogenology (reproduction specialty) and an assistant professor at Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine in Theriogenology. His interests are stallion and mare infertility, and current research is looking at alternatives to antibiotics in semen extenders, treatment of hemospermia in stallions, and alternative diagnostics for blocked oviducts in mares.
