High Lights of Board Meeting held June 20/17
– Finance Committee reported a surplus for the month of May.
– Six other Committees reported on recent meetings.
– The Board acknowledged a new directive from the KFPS regarding
the DNA testing of breeding mares for Hydrocephaly and Dwarfism.
Plans are to incorporate same into FHANA's Rules and Regulations beginning Jan./18.
– Two new Chapter applications were considered with the result that the Board wishes
to officially welcome both the Mountain Time Friesian Chapter and the West Coast Friesian Horse Club
into the FHANA family.
– The FMC was granted their request to have a 120 day moratorium on possible new Chapter applications.
