The FHANA Board of Directors met on Tuesday Dec. 21, 2021. Here are some highlights from the meeting.
- The FHANA Board approved of the Inspection Applications and tentatively approved of the 2022 Fall Inspection Schedule
- The FHANA Board Approved of a new Inspection Application to which better outlines Private Inspection facilities and what is expected of them as hosts.
- The FHANA Board approved to temporarily suspend the Horse of the Year Award for 2021 and only honor horses of distinction for 2021.
- THE FHANA Board approved the recommendation from the Sports Committee to all for video test submissions to be accepted for both the Sport Predicate (2 submissions only), and the FHANA Performance Awards.
- The FHANA Board approved of the changes to the Rules & Regulations and adding 1.1.5 KFPS Member Council and KFPS Member Council Description
- The FHANA Board approved to hold elections for the 2 open KFPS Member Council positions as follows. Jan. 15-30 Open Nominations, Biographies due Feb. 10, Voting to occur March 15-30.
- The FHANA Board retracted the Volunteer duties document in favor of a rewrite.
- The FHANA Board voted in favor of bringing in a leadership company as part of the Board Retreat for February.
