No Friesian Proms 2021

With the Corona Virus and the RIVM measures involved the entire event industry has gone belly-up, resulting in great insecurity for the organisation of large events, and that includes the Stallion Show & FRIESIAN PROMS 2021. So people quite frequently contact the KFPS with the following question: ‘What is the situation with FRIESIAN PROMS and the Stallion Show in early 2021?’

No FRIESIAN PROMS

In the interim the KFPS has decided that the Stallion Inspection and FRIESIAN PROMS will only go ahead in case the public can and are allowed to attend in adequate numbers! Observing the 1½-metre restriction makes this impossible. Considering the duration of the total preparation time the KFPS, with a heavy heart, has been forced to take the decision not to organise the FRIESIAN PROMS for next January.

Decision Stallion Show in September

In relation to the Stallion Show the decision to proceed or not proceed has been postponed till September. Hopefully more information about the (im)possibilities will come through before or around that time.

Alternative evening programme

At this moment we are investigating the options for an alternative evening programme for the Friday evening of the Stallion Inspection, in case this event can go ahead in January. The programme in question will require less preparation time but be attractive for all lovers of the Friesian breed.

For the time being the Stallion Show is on the agenda for 7-8-9 January 2021 in the WTC Expo in Leeuwarden. We will continue to inform you as soon as new information becomes available.
