Jurre 495 takes off as champion older stallions HK 2023 (with video)

The championship title among the older stallions at the KFPS Stallion Show 2023 in Leeuwarden goes to Jurre 495. The four-time general champion was accompanied by Tymen 503, who won the reserve championship.

The battle for the title was fought by four stallions. In addition to Jurre 495 and Tymen 503, Alwin 469 and Nane 492 also remained in the arena. The differences were small, according to jury chairman Sabien Zwaga, with the numbers three and four being close to the champions. Yet it was Jurre 495’s constant performance that ‘never lets you down’ and ‘ran like clockwork’ with which he beat the ‘very beautifully designed and ever youthful’ Tymen 503. This was met with approving cheers and applause from the very involved audience.
