Have you been a long time Friesian owner and looking to give back? Do like to share your wealth of information regarding the Friesian Horse and FHANA with new Friesian owners? If you answered “Yes” to these questions, then FHANA needs you. The Membership Committee is currently looking for several FHANA Members who would consider being a mentor to our newest members.
What does it mean to be a mentor? A mentor is a person that works with the new member to help them understand the world of the Friesian Horse and FHANA. So many new members have so many questions, that you will be the one person they can turn to to help them understand what it means to be a new Friesian owner.
How does this work? Mentors receive a list of new FHANA members on a monthly basis. The list is broken down by the number of mentors (currently 7) and the list includes the contact information for all the new members. You would be responsible for reaching out to the 3-7 members you are assigned. The committee has developed a standard email to help guide you through the initial contact.
