Dear FHANA Membership,
As we prepare for the upcoming FHANA Board of Directors election, we invite members to
consider nominating individuals who would be interested in contributing their time, talents, and
ideas to the future of our organization.
We are looking for individuals who bring strong leadership skills, a collaborative spirit, fresh
perspectives, and a genuine passion for the Friesian breed and the people who love them.
The qualities and strengths we value in potential board members include:
Strong leadership: Individuals who lead with integrity, enthusiasm, accountability, and a
commitment to serving the membership.
Teamwork and collaboration: People who enjoy working together, value different
perspectives, communicate openly, and contribute to a positive and productive team
environment.
Creative and forward-thinking ideas: Individuals who can think outside the box, explore new
opportunities, and bring fresh ideas and creative solutions to help FHANA grow and evolve.
A positive, can-do attitude: People who approach challenges with optimism, flexibility,
initiative, and a willingness to find solutions.
Passion for the Friesian breed: Individuals who genuinely care about the KFPS Friesian
horse, its history, its future, and the community of people who support it.
A desire to serve and contribute: People who are enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge,
experience, and skills for the benefit of FHANA and its membership.
Experience in areas such as event planning, nonprofit or charity work, education, business
management, communications, marketing, leadership, and the creative arts are all valuable
assets that can bring new strengths and perspectives to the board.
Above all, our shared mission must remain at the heart of everything we do: To Protect and
Preserve the KFPS Friesian Horse. We are looking for individuals who embrace this mission
and want to help ensure a strong and successful future for the breed and our organization.
Serving on the board is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution, share ideas, work
alongside fellow members, and help shape the future of FHANA.
We encourage you to think about the people within our membership who possess these
qualities and would bring their enthusiasm, experience, and passion to the board. We welcome
nominations from members who are excited about working together toward the continued
growth and success of FHANA.
Thank you for your continued support and dedication to our organization and the Friesian breed.
