The FHANA Board of Directors met on Tuesday April 18, 2023. Here are some highlights from the meeting.
- Ms. Miley reported our finances for the Q1 are tracking according to budget.
- The Board approved of a new Sponsorship and Support Form request from the Sponsorship/Events Committee.
- The Health Committee presented several good options for the Research Health Grant. After discussion and a recommendation from the Health Committee it was determined to support University of California, Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine : Skin pharmacokinetics of oral fluralaner at 25 mg/kg in the horse study.
- The Board approved of several new committee members.
- The board discussed of members from Mexico attending FHANA inspections. The Board is currently waiting for additional information from the KFPS before a decision can be rendered.
The next Board of Directors meeting is scheduled for Tuesday May 16, 2023 at 6:00PM EDT.
