As a lifelong horsewoman, devoted breed advocate, and now a multiple World Champion, Gail Aumiller has proven that with vision and hard work, dreams really do come true, exemplifying all of the outstanding qualities of a dedicated and accomplished equestrian.

As a child, Gail proudly stated that she wanted to, “grow up to be a horse.” Although never far from the saddle, Gail’s retirement in 2005 from her beloved career as a teacher gave her even more time to pursue her passion for horses. Since then, she has nurtured and expanded her small, personalized breeding program at Dreams Come True Farm into one which produces some of the most sought-after KFPS/FHANA- registered performance Friesians in the country, utilizing only the best of both domestic and international bloodlines.

Gail entered the Friesian show world in 2010, and burst onto the carriage driving scene in 2011 with her young mare, Sjaantje, who has since gone on to earn prestigious breed Sport and Crown titles.

After taking a short break from the show ring while Sjaantje enjoyed motherhood, Gail and her partner were back with a vengeance in 2016 as they traveled up and down the East Coast and across the Midwest, claiming a multitude of regional and national titles in both USEF and American Driving Society (ADS) competitions along the way. The pair was crowned 2016 USEF Friesian Driving Champions in Regions 2, 4, and 5 and Reserve Champions in Regions 1 and 3, earned prestigious ADS carriage pleasure driving victories in Single Horse Turnout, Old Guard, and Concours d’Elegance, and won 15 of its 16 driven dressage tests with scores as high as an astonishing 79%. Wrapping up a triumphant year, Gail drove Sjaantje to three World Championship titles at the IFSHA World and Grand National Championship Horse Show in the Carriage Pleasure Driving Costume, Reinsmanship, and Amateur Scurry divisions, as well as claiming two more World Championship titles in Driven Dressage and received the High Point Driven Dressage Trophy for their outstanding performances.
