Dr. Kory Niswender grew up on a ranch in Northern Colorado. He holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wyoming in Biochemistry, a Master of Science in Reproductive Physiology and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, both from the University of Missouri.
After graduation he completed an internship at Littleton Large Animal Clinic then a three year residency program in the Equine Reproduction Laboratory at Colorado State University. While there, he earned another Master’s degree in Clinical Sciences.
In 2003, Dr. Niswender became a diplomate of the American College of Theriogenologists, qualifying him as a reproductive specialist. His special interests include techniques for treating subfertility in mares, and breeding mares with frozen semen.
