As I write this, my tears make it difficult to see. This morning, my beautiful, wonderful Approved Friesian Stallion Anne 340 Sport was found dead in his stall. At the normal 10 p.m. walk thru the barn last night he was perfect, we even had him collected and shipped on him yesterday. At 6:30 a.m. this morning, he was dead in his stall. Anne’s first crop of foals since he relocated to Alabama in early 2013 are now being born, and they are all beautiful beyond words. I will provide more info as it is known, I have lost a wonderful Stallion, Alabama has lost its first Approved Friesian Stallion, the Friesian world has lost a wonderful ambassador for the magnificent Friesian horse. Chris and I along, with all his handlers, have lost a wonderful friend. -Kelly Carter Peevy
