The USEF 2013 National Champion

Dreams Come True Farm’s Gail Aumiller will be in Lexington, KY, January 8-12 to attend the United States Equestrian Federation’s annual meeting and awards dinners to receive many driving awards on behalf of Sjaantje Sport, her 2005 Tsjerk x Ritse mare. Once again Sjaantje is the USEF Friesian Driving National Champion Horse of the Year, a title she first earned in 2011 and sacrificed in 2012 to earn her KFPS driving predicate Sport title. On January 11^th, which is also Gail’s 63^rd birthday, at the HOTY banquet Sjaantje will also be recognized as the International Friesian Show Horse Association’s National Champion Friesian Driving HOTY and the American Driving Society’s Friesian Open Pleasure Driving Single Hitch HOTY, as well as the ADS Friesian Open Combined Driving Event Single Hitch HOTY.

Last fall at the Lexington, VA, keuring, the KFPS judges also recognized Sjaantje’s driving abilities with their 81.5 Driving IBOP score, which was the highest on the FHANA circuit to win the Dream Gail Friesians Driving IBOP Cup. Later in the day, Sjaantje became a 1^st premie and was awarded the permanent Crown mare title.

DCTF recognizes that such accolades do not come without a dedicated and skilled support group that includes trainers Suzy Stafford and Jodi Van Sprang, and of course Thomas Heverin, Sjaantje’s show groom.
