In 2007 and also 2009 the KFPS organized an Education Week with information about the Friesian Horse especially for foreign members. This was a big success and that is why they are organizing this course again for 2013. On this course they will teach you all the things you need to know about judging the Friesian Horse including the racial aspects, the conformation, structure of the legs, lameness and leg defects and the movements. They will also give a guide to the order of inspections. They will also have an presentation from veterinary surgeon giving all sorts of important information. They will give information about their breeding goal, and they are going to visit one of their inspections to judge a long with one of their inspectors in small groups. They are planning to go driving with Friesian Horses one evening.
The course will be organized in a week when there will be many other attractions/events to visit in Friesland. The language is going to be in English but they also have books in the German language and some documents in French and Spanish.
