Fenway Foundation/FHANA Charitable Activities Award

The Fenway Foundation for Friesian Horses/FHANA Charitable Activities Award was established in 2018 to recognize the contributions of FHANA members who are actively engaged in community service or charitable efforts.  The annual award acknowledges and honors FHANA members who strive to improve their community’s social welfare and/or the quality of life of its citizens.  In the spirit of FHANA’s mission to “Preserve, Protect and Promote the Friesian Horse”, this special recognition award is given to a FHANA member or chapter in good standing for their contributions to preserve, support or protect the communities and/or the welfare of animals.  Fenway Foundation for Friesian Horses Charitable Activities application deadline is November 30th of each year.  Nominees are not be eligible to win in consecutive years.

The reward for winners of the Fenway Foundation for Friesian Horses Charitable Activities Award will be:

  • A check made out to the individual or chapter in the amount of $500.
  • A $500 donation in their honor to the animal related charity of their choice will also be made.
  • The name of the individual or chapter commemorating their achievement to be engraved on the Nanning Perpetual Trophy now located in the FHANA office.
  • A plaque commemorating the charitable activities by the individual or chapter to be awarded at the FHANA Annual General Meeting.
