The voting is open for the 2023 The Tom Hannon/FHANA Lifetime Achievement Award.

The 2023 nominee for this award is Tjaarda 483 Sport Elite.

Tjaarda 483 Sport Elite has won many championships in both ridden dressage and driven dressage (single, double, & 4 in-hand), along with show driving.

Tjaarda continues to prove how versatile a Friesian is and can be.  Tjaarda has competed in the highest level of driving and also very succesful high level ridden dressage. With his added calm in nature attitude he is what people want and expect in a Friesian Horse.

Along with his many accomplishments over the course of his career, Tjaarda was the first and is still the only horse to have been awarded the “Sport Elite” predicate by the KFPS in all three disciplines of Dressage, Driving, and Show Driving.

Tjaarda continues to excel and has helped Owner/Rider Ellisa Kroll earn her USDF Silver Medal with her Prix St. George Scores which were also earned with Alert 475.

Tjaarda is the only horse to have earned Horse of the Year in the Netherlands from the KFPS (2011) but also earn Horse of the Year in North America from FHANA (2018).
