Royal Friesian Pin for American Angie DePuydt

in news

At the Stallion Inspection on Saturday, January 13, Angie DePuydt was awarded the Royal Friesian Pin by the American Fenway Foundation. KFPS director Miel Janssen presented the pin and thanked Angie for her dedicated and tireless efforts for the health of the Friesian horse.

Extremely deserving
A Royal Friesian Pin is an award for members who have made an exceptional contribution to the association and the Friesian horse.
Angie, together with Scott (who previously received a Royal Friesian Pin) and Shelley Kellnhofer and Rebecca McCartney and their Fenway Foundation, are on top of research into, among other things, aortic rupture and esophageal paralysis. She shares her knowledge very expertly, provides information and carries out her groundbreaking work with great dedication.

Working together for health
The KFPS puts health first and together with the Fenway Foundation and Wageningen UR, we have joined forces and exchanged knowledge and experience. “The KFPS is proud of the work that Angie does,” Miel Janssen explained. ‘With this award we hope that she can work with us for a long time to come to improve the health of the Friesian horse.’
