2023 Fall Festivities (Circuit 5) West

Monday, November 6   Will kick off the Judging Course taught by Wil Thijssen at the Murieta Equestrian Center, 7200 Lone Pine Dr., Rancho Murieta, CA 95683.  The class will start with the Meet and Greet at 10:00am in the Conference Room in the main Building.  Breakfast type items (coffee, sweet rolls, and fruit) will be available.  The Course will then move out to Arena #3 in the afternoon.  Class will start at 10am sharp.  Lunch will be provided for participants.

Tuesday, November 7   The Judging Class, Day #2 will begin at 8:30am in the Conference Room.  Breakfast type items (coffee, sweet rolls, and fruit) will be available. Lunch will be provided for participants.

Wednesday, November 8   Day three of the Judging Class will continue in the Conference room.  Breakfast type items (coffee, sweet rolls, and fruit) will be available.  Lunch will be provided for participants.

Wednesday November 8, the Judging Course will conclude at the end of day.

Thursday, November 9   Will be the final days of the clinics, which will be held in the same arenas as the previous day.

Breakfast type items (coffee, sweet rolls, and fruit) will be available in the small building near the Arena.

Lunch will be provided for participants.

Friday, November 10   Starting at 9am we will start the riding and driving IBOP entries which will be held at dressage Arena #3. Some cold breakfast type items (coffee, sweet rolls and fruit) will be available in the small building near the Arena.

10am, we will begin the Circuit 5 Inspections with measuring the Horses outside of Arena #3, the Opening Ceremonies will begin at 10:30.  Lunch will be provided for participants (1 lunch ticket per horse entered) and will be available to purchase for the spectators.  Ribbons and trophies will be awarded with mares invited to the Mare Show (on Saturday) and the Stallions invited to the Stallion Viewing on Tuesday, Nov 14 at the same location.

Friday evening we’re working on putting together a Holiday Extravaganza for all to be entertained.  This is currently being coordinated with participants.  That show will be in Arena #3, and dinner tickets will be available to purchase.

Saturday Morning, November 11  Starting at 9am we will host the Mare Show West in Arena #3.  Breakfast type items (coffee, sweet rolls, and fruit) will be available in the small building near the Arena.

Lunch will be provided for participants (1 lunch ticket per horse entered) and will be available to purchase for the spectators.

 

Tuesday Morning, November 14  We will host our first Stallion Viewing.  Measuring horses will start at 9am and presenting the stallions will start at 10am in Arena #3,

Breakfast type items (coffee, sweet rolls, and fruit) will be available in the small building near the Arena.

Lunch will be provided for participants (1 lunch ticket per horse entered) and will be available to purchase for the spectators.

 

 

2023 Fall Festivities (Circuit 5) East

Monday November 13 will kick off the Judging course at the Horse Park in the Dunn Arena Building.  Some cold breakfast type items (coffee, sweet rolls and fruit) will be available in the kitchen of the Dunn Arena.  Class will start at 10am sharp.  Lunch will be provided.

Tuesday November 14 the Judging Class will begin at 8:30am in the Dunn Arena classroom.  Again, some cold breakfast type items will be available in the kitchen of the Dunn arena.  Lunch will be provided.

Wednesday November 15, day three of the Judging Class will continue in the Dunn Arena Classroom.  Again, some cold breakfast type items will be available.  Lunch will be provided.

Wednesday November 15, the Judging Course will conclude at end of day.

Thursday November 16 Jenny Veenstra Clinic will start at 10AM

Friday November 17 starting at 9am we will entertain the IBOP entries which will be held at dressage Arena 3.

Friday November 17 starting at noon, we will begin the Circuit 5 Inspections.

Friday evening starting at 7pm we will continue with the saddle show competition and the final element of the Show Saddle competition for the winners will be held in the Baker Arena.

Saturday Morning November 18 starting at 9am we will host our first Stallion Viewing (actually the second if you consider the one in the West Coast earlier in the week).

Saturday afternoon starting at 1PM we will begin the Mare Show.

 

A semi-formal dinner of smoked prime rib will be available for Saturday night.  The cost of that dinner will be based solely on the number of people that are interested eating with us.  Please contact Marq Laude for more information and/or reservations for your dinner.  We plan on cooking lighter food for the kiddos.

Saturday evening we’re working on putting together a Holiday Extravaganza for all to be entertained.  This is currently being coordinated with participants.  That show will be in the Baker Arena and will follow dinner and the Mare Show.
