2023 Video Inspections Have Returned

Are you in a remote location and cannot attend a FHANA/KFPS Inspection?  Do you want to move your mare or gelding into the respective KFPS Studbooks?  FHANA once again is offering video submissions for all KFPS Mares and Geldings including Main Book, BBI, and BBII.  This option is aimed at those current business/full FHANA members who live in a remote location, have difficulty traveling, or are more comfortable presenting a video.  If you are interested, the fee to have your horse reviewed is $150.  This allows your adult mare or gelding possible promotion from the Foalbook into their respective Studbook. These entries will not be judged for Premium, Star, or Predicate and do not receive linear scores; however, the judged mare or gelding will receive updated pedigree papers, a written judging summary, and breeding advice which can be used to select stallions for the mares.  Choosing this option does not allow transfer to any of the 2023 FHANA/KFPS in-person inspections.

To submit your video, please send to [email protected] by either dropbox or wetransfer.  Please include in the title of your video, Horse Name (Full registered name), Registration Number, Owner Information including R# (membership #).  Once the FHANA office has received your video, you will be invoiced the $150 which will need to be paid upon receipt.  All submissions are due by Oct. 13, 2023.  You are also required to submit your horse’s registration papers to the FHANA office in order for them to be upgraded.

Upon receipt of your video and papers, the FHANA office will submit your video to the KFPS for review.  You will receive a response from the KFPS or FHANA regarding the upgrade status of your horse by Dec. 1st, 2023 at which point you will also receive updated papers displaying the horse with any Studbook status change.
