A FHANA Board Liaison is a collaborator between the Board of Directors and a specific committee. A Liaison is charged with facilitating the relationship between the Board and the committee and with overseeing the committee to ensure adherence to the goals and interests of the committee’s charter. The Liaison may participate in committee discussions, provide guidance, and suggest ideas and concepts to the committee chair. The Liaison may not vote on committee motions under any circumstances. Upon the passage of a committee motion, the Liaison shall present the motion to the Board of Directors. The Liaison may, at the Board’s request, clarify or elaborate on the committee’s discussions surrounding the motion.
