Augustyn is a 4 year old gelding with lineage, Elviera from the Friesian Connection/Fridse 423.  Augustyn has two brothers and one sister from Elviera that made Star at keurings when they were 4 years old.  Augustyn was in a keuring as a 3 year old stallion, when he was at a fairly lanky stage of development. He didn't make Star, but has continued to show excellent potential for a variety of disciplines.  He measured 164 at the keuring and has continued to grow in both height and an athletic body conformation.  He has a long mane and the thickest tail I have ever seen that reaches to the ground. 
We've been raising Friesians on our small family farm for the past 11 years and all of our horses have tons of human contact on a daily basis.  Before we ever take them to a professional trainer, they're used to all kinds of handling, leading, blanketing, grooming, farrier work, vet contact, lunging, being around farm equipment, and other horses.  We delay their work under saddle until they've reached sufficient maturity and leg strength, around 4 years, old such that they will have the best chance at a long and vital future.  All of the trainers that have worked with our horses have commented about their wonderful dispositions, and lack of any vices - no bucking, rearing, bolting.
This past summer, Augustyn was professionally trained to ride and drive.  The trainer commented that he has excellent stamina and is very forward-moving.  Augustyn is a willing learner with wonderful potential.  He would need an experienced rider and continuing training to foster his ability in the discipline of a new owner's choosing. 
Augustyn has a very loving and kind disposition.  He gets along well with both humans and horses.  We are only looking for a top-quality home where he can continue to experience mutually positive relationships with his new family.
