Young Living Friesians is proud to offer an amazing champion mare for sale!

"Antonia" represents one of our crowning breeding achievements here at Young Living. She is a tall, beautiful 2016 Ster mare (Anton 343 x Norbert 444) that took Young Living to new heights and has become of beautiful representation of her lineage. She is highly working minded and LOVES to be given a job. She is well-mannered and friendly and arguably one of the most interactive mares in our barn. She also holds the title of some of the thickest, most luxurious hair in our barn as well (a true Anton offspring!) She stands/loads/clips comfortably without issue. 
Just under 16.5hh, up to date on all veterinarian, dental, and farrier work. 
Fully trained for single and team driving sports, never started under saddle.
Negative Coggins test as of 4/12/2022, hydrocephalus and dwarfism gene free. 
Inbreeding coefficient 2.34%
Winner of the 2019 Mare Show West. A Provisional Kroon mare award, she received remarks on her fantastic balance, long neck, and strength of gaits. 
Due to her budding showing career and subsequent Covid-19 related delays, Antonia has not yet had a foal though she is still healthy and viable as a broodmare prospect. She carried a 2020 foal to term without issue, but unfortunately the foal was lost during an emergency delivery.

DISCLAIMER: Antonia underwent emergency torsion colic surgery as of 1/28/22. Her recovery and rehabilitation were a bit slow at first, but are now progressing very well with a prognosis of excellent and she crossed her 90 day post-op mark as her usual friendly and bright self, ready to work. We are slowly and safely returning her back to her normal diet and exercise routines under the supervision of her veterinarian and expect a full recovery. 

5/11/2022 UPDATE: Antonia's colic recovery is still going very well per her latest vet appointment check in. She was also given a breeding soundness exam and was cleared for 2022 breeding, if desired.
