October Board of Directors Highlights

The FHANA Board of directors met on Tuesday Oct. 20th.  Here are some highlights from the meeting.

• Mathew Jenkins on behalf of the membership committee presented a Mentor Program for new members along with a Youth Program for young members called “Future FHANA”.  More details outlining these initiatives will come in the weeks ahead.
• A motion was passed to have the 2021 FHANA AGM in Lexington, KY.  This AGM will be for Board members only and will be held virtually for all members to attend.  Additionally, FHANA will conduct an awards banquet for all award winners.  This will also be done virtually and each winner will be encouraged to accept virtually or submit a 30 second video.
• A motion was passed to accept the changes for the FHANA Booth application.  This will added to the FHANA website.
• Mr. Smith presented the 2021 Budget.  The budget was approved for 2021.
• The FHANA Board discussed runners for upcoming inspections and events.  It was determined that horse owners are responsible for presenting their own horse or arranging a runner to present their horse at KFPS/FHANA events.
