May Board of Directors Highlights

The FHANA Board of Directors met on Tuesday May 19th.

 

Items of interest:

 

The Board approved of a proposal from the Sports Committee to reduce the number of qualifying scores for end of the year Performance Awards from 10 to 5 due to the limited number of available shows for 2020.

The Board decided to review the 2021 AGM location due to COVID 19.  A decision to scale back the AGM to a professional meeting for the membership followed by a small awards banquet is currently being considered.  Location to be determined.  The North East Friesian Horse Club will be the host of the 2022 FHANA AGM.

The board approved the cancellation of the 2020 Inspection Tour due to COVID 19.  Please see attached letter.

The board approved to allow 2020 foals to attend the 2021 inspections as yearlings at no cost to the membership as long as the foal is registered in 2020.

The board discussed the suspension of late fees for foal registrations due to COVID 19 as long as the foal is registered by Nov. 1, 2020.
