Health Committee

Purpose:

The Friesian Health Committee is committed to advancing the health, welfare, and longevity of Friesian horses through education, research, and advocacy. Through articles and webinars, we provide valuable health information to owners, breeders, and veterinarians. We support and promote academic research by granting funding for studies that further the understanding of Friesian health. Additionally, we play a critical role in reviewing abuse cases reported to the association, working to ensure safe landings for Friesians in need. Our mission is to safeguard the breed’s future by fostering knowledge, responsible care, and ethical stewardship.
