FHANA to Conduct Complimentary Clinic During Final Stallion Testing
January 22, 2010
The Education committee's plan is to conduct four (4) clinics throughout North America during this first year, and eventually build to seven (7) clinics. The first clinic will be held in conjunction with the final stallion testing in Hanford, CA Feb. 22-23, 2010. This clinic will be free of charge to all attendees, but a small donation to DG Bar Ranch for lunches would be appreciated. DG Bar Ranch is allowing FHANA to conduct this clinic and providing lunches at their facility.
The topics that will be discussed during the clinic will be Evaluating the Friesian Horse and Using Stallion Indexing to Choose a Stallion For Your Mare. Both BJ and JR have been working tirelessly to put together an educational clinic that will be both informative and up to date with the breeding goals of the KFPS. KFPS Dutch judge Fetze Veldstra and KFPS Executive Director Ids Hellinga will also be available to answer additional questions.
The clinics will be held in the mornings starting at 9AM on both days with the final stallion testing being conducted in the afternoon. FHANA encourages all members who would like to attend this free of charge Education clinic to please make reservations with the FHANA office so we can plan for your visit.
Additional clinics are being planned and locations will be announced at a later date. The cost for additional clinics is still being researched and will be reviewed upon completion of this initial clinic.
