~ Friesian Play Day and Clinic to be held in Mount Vernon at Douwe Plantinga's farm from 10:00-4:00. Come and bring your Friesian horse and some friends for a fun day of information, riding and driving. Lunch will be provided. Douwe Plantinga will speak on how to prepare your horse for the keuring. Denise Hinder will be sharing how she feeds the Friesian for endurance, Julee Kula will be giving suggestions on how to prepare your horse for a parade and Denise and Douwe will deminstrat how to tack up the driving horse.
